Currently, The Conservatory is offering two week sessions in the last two weeks of each month in 2007. Should you be traveling to San Miguel and need to request different dates, please specify that in your request. Register early, as we expect these classes to fill up. As space becomes limited, we will consider setting up overflow sessions to those on the waiting list.

The direct metal fabrication session focuses on hand fabrication techniques, while the lost wax casting focuses on the art of casting with lost wax. The basic difference of the two methods is that the hand fabrication gives a generally flatter more stylized finished piece, while the lost wax method gives the finished piece a more sculptured or organic look.

Cost
The tuition per week is 300 dollars for 15 hours of instruction per week. All materials needed for completion of the course, including 5 ounces of sterling silver, will be provided. A delicious and healthy lunch is available at an extra cost. We have three adorable small homes for rent directly on the premises. For further information about accomodations, please send an email.

Hours
Classes will be held Monday through Friday from 11am-2pm. On the weekends, relax and or explore the luxurious surroundings in San Miguel de Allende and neighboring Guanajuato. Partake in our social activities program which brings you the best that San Miguel has to offer.
